Well done Siyabonga Africa team. Each and every person – whether staff, volunteer or donor – plays an important role in everything we’ve been able to achieve over the past few months. Together we are choosing to keep going … to hold our heads up during these challenging times … to do our work with passion and excellence.
We can all be proud to be Siyabonga AfriCANs!
Our innovative Food Vouchers have been delivered via SMS to people in need, and the feedback has been awesome.
Our Food Bank continues to make a huge difference to the lives of poverty stricken people, reaching an average of 1 000 households a day with food parcels.
Food donations that have come in to Siyabonga Africa have been distributed to local Feeding Schemes and Soup Kitchens, which continue to provide a daily meal to people with no income. Hundreds of people have been reached with food in this way.
Anybody looking for help from Siyabonga Africa can now Apply Online – simply click the link on our home page and fill in your details. These go directly to our beneficiary database for follow up and approval. The system is entirely paperless and minimizes any risk of spreading the COVID 19 virus.
Our first ever E-learning Course launches this week, enabling students to train online. In the near future, people from around the country will be able to access our courses this way.
Our Beneficiary Management System (BMS) has been upgraded. It keeps track of all the beneficiaries and services that Siyabonga Africa offers. It provides real time reporting and creates a platform to communicate with our beneficiaries via sms or email.
