With the reopening of our training courses, we’ve spent a lot of time and resources on making sure our premises and staff are compliant. We’ve bought face masks, tape for social distancing demarcation, perspex screens for reception areas, thermometers, signboards, hand sanitizer, sanitizer dispensers, paper towels and more.
Our team has been fully trained in all the processes and procedures regarding safety and Covid-19 regulations and these were put to the test when over 50 students visited our centre to apply for the courses.
But more fundamental changes have come into effect that will take us into the post Covid era. Traning methods are increasingly going digital – from our new online application process to a new portal where course graduates will be able to access additional resources and business related help.
The new system automatically creates a profile for every beneficiary of our services, regardless of which services have been accessed. This gives us a holistic view of the people we serve and enables us to track their progress and stay in touch.
By going digital, Siyabonga Africa is now poised to serve beneficiaries beyond our immediate vicinity. They will no longer need to travel to our offices to access services, saving both time and money on transport. We can literally deliver courses, advice and support to anyone, anywhere in the country!
